Strength exercises away from the pole?

I am training for twisty grip and am not quite there yet, does anyone recommend any training I can do away from the pole to build up strength?

You need good strength in the shoulders, arms and abs. Dips are great for building the tricep which will help out with this move. Push ups, pull ups, crunches are all great for helping with pole moves and repetition every day will show results quickly
