Hey Sasha, Thomas is wearing Chinese pole shoes. These are special shoes made with Rubber soles. They are very similar to Feiyue Wushu Training Shoes. However I find that the Geox range of rubber sole shoes are great as you can even buy patent trainers which mean the top bit stick to the pole. These are the kind I use when I'm teaching :)
